USWCC/NWL Organization Memberships The U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce is establishing partnerships with the hundreds of women's organizations and women's segments of mixed organizations across America offering these groups a new and value-added USWCC association membership and building the Power of Influence that scale, effective coordination and advocacy brings to raise the influence of women's organizations in the U.S. ( Click here to view the Association Membership Powerpoint - or click here for a printable version) Organization members of the USWCC (and the NWL Division) may be: - Women's organizations (regional and national)
- Women's sections of mixed organizations
- Supporting organizations such as foundations, and non-member based non-profits
Member Levels, Criteria and Fees Large Organization Members - Large Organization Members are National Large Organizations (women's non-governmental organizations with national scope and presence in at least 25 states and paid membership of 1,000 or more), and Regional Organizations (state women's organizations or mixed organizations with at least 100 active members). One delegate per Regional Organization Member will serve on the State Assembly and General Assembly. National Organization Members will appoint one delegate to the General Assembly and High Council of Leaders. Regional councils of National Organization Members may choose to also join as a Regional Organization Member in their regional areas to take part on their State Assembly and to provide a delegate from their region to the national General Assembly. Small Organization Members - Women's groups and mixed groups that do not meet the size requirements to be recognized as Organization Members, may choose to become Associate Members of the USWCC (and NWL). Associate Members will have no voting rights within the NWL. However, they may attend by invitation open assembly meetings and submit input and comments to the delegates on issues under consideration. Associate Members will also receive news updates and the NWL publications. Supporting Organization Members - Supporting Organization members are non-profits, corporations and other institutions that support the NWL's purpose and aims. Supporting Organization Members will have no voting rights within the NWL. However, they may attend by invitation open assembly meetings and submit input and comments to the delegates on issues under consideration. Associate Members will also receive news updates and the NWL publications.
